It is with both sadness and gratitude that I announce that the inaugural CEO of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health, Phillip Ripper has tended his resignation. Phillip will be taking up the position of CEO with No To Violence, the national peak body that works with men who use family violence, and the sector that supports them to change their abusive and violent behaviour.

Prior to his role with Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health, Phillip served for more than 10 years as CEO with Sunbury Community Health.  As CEO, Phillip has been a driver of significant growth and change.  Under his leadership, our services have developed, and community has remained at the heart of everything we do.

Phillip’s decision has not been an easy one, but he believes the time is now right for renewed leadership and drive.  The Board of Directors will shortly begin the process of recruiting for his replacement.  We appreciate the strength and talent of the organisation’s Executive and broader leadership team and Julie Landy, Chief Operating Officer will be acting CEO from 1 September, Phillip’s last day with the organisation.

The Board and I are grateful to Phillip for the energy, vision, and passion that he has dedicated to our organisation and the communities we serve over many years. I trust you will join me in wishing Phillip all the best in his future.
