We support the formal placement of students as a contribution towards training professionals for the community and health sector. Students seeking work experience or wishing to complete placements can contribute to the work we do within the community.
We offer a broad range of services and programs providing interesting learning opportunities. We are also happy to discuss relevant post graduate research proposals and placements.

We offer tertiary student placements in the following areas:
- Adult physiotherapy
- Adult occupational therapy
- Podiatry
- Dietetics
- Health promotion
- Paediatric physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech pathology
- Early childhood education
- Social work
- Counselling
- Social support and respite
We receive a large number of enquiries for student placements each year, and can only take a finite number of students to ensure a positive and meaningful student placement with the organisation. Please include a copy of your resume and details of your placement requirements including course name, education provider, required hours and outcomes, and preferred days/times in your initial email so we can best support you.
Please note that only placements requested, supported and approved by a learning institution are eligible. There must also be set learning outcomes. We are unable to support requests from independent students aiming to seek experience.
