We are excited to announce that in partnership with Macedon Ranges Shire Council we have received funding from Bendigo Bank’s Gisborne and District Community Bank that will give young people in the Macedon Ranges the opportunity to get better access to youth mental health services.

As part of Community Bank Gisborne and District’s autumn round of community investment grants, the bank awarded nearly $300k over three years to develop and deliver a youth mental health and wellbeing support service.  The project aims to reduce the barriers and improve access for young people to services and activities that give them the opportunity to feel supported and connected to their community, and each other.  Through this generous funding we will be able to support an additional 180 local young people.

The service will be designed by young people themselves giving them the opportunity to create a health and wellbeing model that meets their needs as well as building leadership skills.
