If you are interested in supporting the wellbeing of men and boys in the Macedon Ranges we invite you to join us as we welcome Paul Zappa from Jesuit Social Services as he presents ‘Unpacking the Man Box’ and the findings of a survey aimed at improving the wellbeing of men and boys.

The ‘Man Box’ survey found that young Australian men who believe in outdated masculine stereotypes were at significantly higher risk of engaging in behaviours harmful to themselves and to others, such as online bullying, sexual harassment, physical violence and risky drinking.  They were also more inclined to experience negative feelings and emotions.

This free presentation will compare the Man Box findings to #thehumancode, a similar survey which explored the pressures on men and boys in the Macedon Ranges, and look at how we can work together to improve their health and wellbeing and that of the broader community.
