A service is being offered by Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health for Macedon Ranges residents impacted by the June 2021 storms. A dedicated case manager has been employed to work with locals to help coordinate the various supports available as part of the clean-up and they will be able to tailor their assistance according to the needs of individuals.
The storm recovery program can help with advice on what services are available, including health and wellbeing support, financial counselling and information on payments that can be accessed to help with the clean-up.
To access this support, call the Recovery Support Hotline on 1800 560 760 between 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – 1pm at weekends.
Operators can assist you to navigate a range of available recovery supports. This could include:
- Registering for the clean-up of structures on private property or the assessment of hazardous trees
- Connecting you with our Recovery Support Worker who can help you with practical, health and wellbeing support
- Providing information around available financial support
This service is provided through Bushfire Recovery Victoria, a Victorian Government agency working with local communities impacted by fire, floods and storm damage.
