The Sons of the West men’s health program is back
The Sons of the West is a free 10-week men’s health program run by the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation in partnership with local councils and community health services. It provides men with a safe and inclusive space to learn about their health, do some physical activity and meet other men in their area.
Each week you will meet in your groups for about 2 hours. In the first hour, you will hear from a range of guest presenters who will discuss different men’s health topics, such as nutrition and mental fitness. In the next hour you will get the chance to be active, with some fun, group-based exercise.
The program is free thanks to support from our partners the State Government of Victoria, the Department of Health, Hume City Council and Watergardens Town Centre.
If you are keen to pick up some handy tips to improve your health, get active and receive some free giveaways, then come along and try the Sons of the West Program.
Starts: Tuesday 15 March, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
