After the success of the first ‘Queers on the Catwalk’ in October 2019, we are back!  We invite the LGBTIQA+ community, young and old, and their allies to join us for an evening of stylish fun where we will celebrate rural and regional pride through fashion.

In the lead up to the event in November, LGBTIQA+ community members are invited to a workshop hosted by our WayOut and CLIP teams alongside TGD Clothing Swap and The Story Costumer.  Participants can create their own outfit, costume or entire catwalk collection, be coached to find their catwalk groove, and steel their confidence to walk the runway.  Participants will have access to a wide variety of free items to try on, or they can bring their own outfits as we explore what makes us feel affirmed and confident.

For those who prefer to stay out of the spotlight, there is the opportunity to gain some skills in video production as the event will be recorded for the participants.

The costume workshop will take place in Kyneton on Saturday 23 October 2021.    The catwalk event will be held on Friday 19 November at the Mountview Theatre in Macedon.
