Queers on the Catwalk is back for 2022. We invite the LGBTIQA+ community, young and old, and their allies to join us for an evening of stylish fun where we will celebrate rural and regional pride through fashion.
In the lead up to the event in November, LGBTIQA+ community members were invited to a workshop hosted by our WayOut and CLIP teams alongside TGD Clothing Swap and PollyFilla Productions. Participants created their own outfit, costume or entire catwalk collection, were coached to find their catwalk groove, and steel their confidence to walk the runway. Participants have access to a wide variety of free items to try on, or they can bring their own outfits as we explore what makes us feel affirmed and confident.
The catwalk event will be held on Friday 25 November at the Mountview Theatre in Macedon.
