Leigh Hogg
Leigh was a foundation member of the Sunbury Community Health Committee of Management. He had given up a senior marketing position to become a local businessman and was committed to his family and to the Sunbury community. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Sunbury and during his twelve years on the Committee, he served two terms as Vice President and four as President. As President, his understanding of community health and energy was essential in the establishment of the organisation. He also represented Sunbury Community Health on the Victorian Hospitals Association 4B Council. His skill and expertise as well as his considerable contribution as a negotiator and advocate for the local community was realised when he presided over the opening of the new building in Gap Road, Sunbury. In recognition of his valuable contribution, Leigh was presented with his Life Governor award in 1981.
