David McDonagh

David joined Sunbury Community Health’s Committee while serving as the Principal of Sunbury Primary School. David enjoyed a close relationship with the community and as school principal witnessed the growth of the township and its need for services. Connected within the community through his profession and community-based committees, David contributed his personal and professional skills to Sunbury Community Health for 24 years. His ability to form and develop positive relationships and his pragmatic approach facilitated the work of the Committee and the organisation. David is a key advocate for Sunbury Community Health, proud of the history and positive about its future, which he attributes to the quality of the people who have been and are currently associated with the organisation. David was awarded Life Governor in 2010 in recognition of his strong community voice and his support for Sunbury Community Health.
