Alison Killoh

Alison is a Woodend General Practitioner who has been committed to ensuring the Macedon Ranges community has equitable access to caring, compassionate and quality health and wellbeing services for over 50 years. She has been able to use her professional role as a local doctor to provide the care her patients require as well as identifying wellbeing needs in the wider community. Her involvement includes education, information and service in health literacy, emergency management, family violence, youth mental health, public housing and palliative health care. She was a founding member of Cobaw Community Health and Senior Vice President once it was established in 1985. She became the President and Chair in 1988, remaining in that role until 1994. Alison has always been an active member of the community and has been involved as a volunteer in the Woodend Uniting Church, the local playgroup, kinder and school and St John Ambulance. As a Life Governor of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health Alison will ensure the Board works alongside Macedon Ranges’ diverse communities and she will continue to advocate for the local community and improve community connectedness.
