About the role:

Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is offering an exciting opportunity to become the Manager of our People Culture and Capability team.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for leading the People Culture and Capability Team to deliver on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and ensure the successful delivery of programs and initiatives in line with the organisational strategy.

You will lead, coach and support the People, Culture and Capability team to enable them to grow and develop their own skills and knowledge and assist them in delivering value adding service to our internal stakeholders.

The Manager People Culture and Capability position is responsible for the management of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health’s organisational development and the provision of sound operational advice in the areas of industrial relations, recruitment, remuneration, benefits, learning and development, and the efficient and compliant delivery of payroll.

The Manager People, Culture and Capability, supports the work of the Payroll Coordinator, two People and Culture and Capability Coordinators and two People, Culture and Capability Officers and is responsible for delivering employee development strategies and strengthening organisational capability aligned with  the organisation’s values, objectives and priorities.

You will be a motivated and experienced individual who is excited about the contribution you can make to a true values-based workforce.  You will be an effective leader who can motivate and empower employees to perform to their best abilities and develop to their maximum potential.  You will have a demonstrated high-level working knowledge of HR and IR and payroll systems and the ability to provide support and guidance.  You will be excited about the opportunity to help develop a culture and employee value proposition in line with our new values and organisational strategy.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), an NDIS Safety Screening check and hold a current valid Working With Children Check.  As a healthcare provider, all our staff will need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have a medical exemption by an authorised medical practitioner.
