Board Statement: New CEO Appointed
The Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health Board of Directors are pleased to announce that David Wild has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the organisation. David is currently the Chief Executive of the Specialised Assistance School for Youth (SASY) in Adelaide.
David’s clinical background is in mental health and he has experience across the education, health and community sectors. David has extensive experience of working in partnerships to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes for vulnerable communities. This has included working with refugees, asylum seekers, indigenous communities and survivors of torture. More recently David has worked in the education sector launching a child wellbeing program that focuses on supporting schools and educators to recognise and support child wellbeing needs earlier in their life. David has also held the position of State Manager, Headspace Schools and National Clinical Manager, Headspace Schools.
David will be moving with his family from South Australia to take up the role of CEO at the organisation from 30 January 2024.
