Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health and Today Strategic Design are inviting parents and carers children of 0 – 11 years old to participate in co-design workshops for the recently launched Loddon Child Local.
About the Loddon Child Local
The Loddon Child Local will work across the Macedon Ranges, Greater Bendigo, Campaspe, Central Goldfields, Loddon and Mount Alexander to support children aged 0 – 11 years to get the best start in life. The Local will help families find and connect to services to support children to be healthy, well and grow to their full potential.
Paid Workshops
We are running two workshops in Kyneton to co-design a vision for the Child Local and understand the types of services and supports that families like yours need the most. The workshops will be facilitated by Today, a strategic design agency based in Melbourne.
Monday 16 October, 12:30 – 2:30pm (Discovery Workshop)
In this workshop we will explore the types of services you need, the challenges you face and seek to understand what kind of support would help you achieve your child’s health and wellbeing goals. There will be up to 6 participants in this workshop.
Wednesday 18 October, 9:30 – 1:30pm (Design Workshop)
This workshop will help you to imagine a future service and how it will support your family on their health and wellbeing journey. It will be highly collaborative, with up to 10 participants.
If you are a parent, grandparent, foster parent or carer of a child or children aged 0 – 11 years who would benefit from better access to health and wellbeing services, we would like to hear from you. You may be currently receiving support or services for your child, be on a waitlist for services, or have been unable to access services that are suitable for your family.

If you would like to participate but do not feel comfortable in group settings, we have some limited options for individual interviews.
You will be remunerated for your participation with a $100 gift card for the Discovery Workshop and a $200 gift card for the Design Workshop.
