International Day of People with Disability Festival
We are excited to be hosting a free performing arts festival to celebrate International Day of People with Disability 2023. Featuring performances from our inclusive theatre company, BoilOver and the Women’s Circus, the event is for people with disability and the broader community to come together to celebrate diversity, difference, and inclusion and recognise the valuable contribution people with disability make to the arts.
Audiences will get the opportunity to see a performance of ‘The Birds’, an original piece of work first performed at the Abbotsford Convent as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Also performing will be the Women’s Circus who the artists at BoilOver have worked with over the past year to help develop their performance skills. They will be performing a piece of work called ‘Momentum’.
