We have organised a number of events and activities for the community to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia Biphobia Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) which takes place on Tuesday 17 May 2022:

  • Flag-raising at the Kyneton Mechanics Institute: Tuesday 17 May at 12pm
  • Flag-raising at Sunbury Village Green: Tuesday 17 May at 12.30pm
  • Community lunch at the Kyneton Mechanics Institute: Wednesday 18 May at 12.30pm ($5 donation)
  • Rainbow Bridges exhibition at the Sunbury Youth Centre: Tuesday 17 May 4pm to 7.30pm
  • Rainbow families storytime at Goldfields Libraries: Tuesday 17 May and Wednesday 25 May (click here for details)
  • Meet the Family video screenings at Goldfields Libraries: Wednesday 11 to Tuesday 17 May (click here for details)
  • Create your own rainbow pendant or key ring at Kyneton Library: Wednesday 11 to Tuesday 17 May during library opening times
