Our inclusive theatre company, BoilOver Performance Ensemble, has announced its next production, ‘Heart Strings’.
Presented by BoilOver Performance Ensemble in collaboration with composer Ciaran Frame, featuring guest performer Nina Robertson, they explore love, risk and courage in this new piece of work which sees the ensemble perform in their most raw and moving work to date. Join us at The Bowery Theatre in St Albans for an immersive physical storytelling experience that is sure to pull at your heart strings.
Ciaran Frame is a composer and researcher whose work is characterised by an innovative approach to music-making and a commitment to creating music that is both accessible and meaningful to a broad range of people. His work has featured around Australia and internationally, ranging from turning people into instruments to asking 10,000 people to play the kazoo.
Nina Robertson is a circus and physical theatre performer who is happiest when perched up high, be it on a tower of people, dangling from the ceiling on an aerial rope, or on her unicycle. She is passionate about telling stories through human movement, using the heightened risk and spectacle of circus to bring these stories to life. Recent credits include ‘Future Proof’ by Gravity Dolls and ‘The Dry’ by Circa Cairns.
