We are excited to have received support from the Sunbury & Bulla Neighbourhood Fund to put on a festival to mark International Day of People with Disability 2023.

The grant of $20k will enable our inclusive physical theatre company BoilOver Performance Ensemble, to host an event for people with disability and the broader community to come together to celebrate diversity, difference, and inclusion and recognise the valuable contribution people with disability make towards the arts.

Audiences will get the opportunity to see a performance of ‘The Birds‘, an original piece of work first performed at the Abbotsford Convent as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Also performing will be the Women’s Circus who the artists at BoilOver have worked with over the past year to help develop their performance skills.  They will be performing a piece of work called ‘Momentum’.

The event will feature other activities and guests which will be confirmed closer to the date.
