We currently have family day care vacancies at Our Village Family Childcare in a number of suburbs and we are also taking enquiries for family day care places for 2024.
What is Family Day Care?
We provide high quality day care for children in a home environment. Our Village Family Childcare operates every day of the week and provides daytime, before and after school, evening, overnight and respite care for children and families.
The service is available for children from 0–12 years of age, in the homes of qualified early childhood educators.
Over 40 years experience in childcare
Our Village Family Childcare has been providing home-based family day care for local families for over 40 years and is proudly not-for-profit. It provides flexible education and care for children, by families for families.
- There is a maximum of four pre-school age children and seven children in total
- Flexible hours/days
- Before and after school care available
- Evenings and overnights also available
- Childcare subsidy available to eligible families
- Children participate in regular community outings and connect with other children and educators at Our Village playgroups, including at our intergenerational playgroup

- Brimbank (Keilor Park, Sunshine West, Cairnlea, Hillside Sydenham and Delahey)
- Moonee Valley (Niddrie, Airport West and Avondale Heights)
- Hume (Sunbury, Diggers Rest, Greenvale and Craigieburn)
- Macedon Ranges (Romsey, Lancefield and Woodend)
Places are immediately available in all the suburbs listed apart from Woodend and Niddrie.
