About Our Village Family Childcare
Our Village Family Childcare is a high-quality approved childcare service committed to providing education and care for children from 6 weeks of age to 12 years in the homes of qualified early childhood educators. With over 40 years’ experience, proudly not-for-profit and for families, Our Village Family Childcare offers children a high-quality learning environment with a qualified and enthusiastic early childhood educator in a small group setting. We are an accredited service delivering support to educators across numerous and ever-expanding municipalities including Hume, the Macedon Ranges, Brimbank and Moonee Valley.
Currently we have a high demand in our waitlist and are seeking educators in the Macedon Ranges and Sunbury areas.
As part of the commitment to quality, all educators are supported by the Our Village Family Childcare’s central coordination unit. Our educators recognise that children are unique and understand that they develop at their own pace. Based on this, an individual program is created based on your childrens’ interests and abilities. Families will be encouraged to contribute to this program. All education and care programs are developed in line with approved learning frameworks.

About You
- A passion for caring and educating children
- Comfortable working on your own
- A minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Sound knowledge of the National Early Childhood Education and Care National Law and Regulations as well as the Early Years Learning Frameworks
- A positive attitude and strong commitment to provide quality education and care within the service
- The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders within your family day care business
- Flexibility and willingness to be open to new ideas
- Good organisational and time management skills
Successful applicates will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check and hold a current valid Working with Children Check.
