After being rescheduled twice last year, our inclusive physical theatre company BoilOver Performance Ensemble is at last able to bring you the production, ‘BUOY’.

Teaming up with an incredible line up of collaborators including disability-led arts organisation Your DNA, internationally acclaimed physical theatre company 5AM (5AngryMen) and Monash University’s creative technology innovators SensiLab, we will push the boundaries of gravity, space, sound and time in an oceanic world premiere.

Audiences will experience immersive audio-visual and aerial exploration navigating new frontiers of interactive technology and contemporary performance.

BUOY takes us deep sea diving within an oceanic dream where things are not all they seem – deep sea creature intelligence meets machine intelligence and extrasensory communication meets telecommunication exploring togetherness in a time of social distance, buoying us through unchartered waters.

Using high-tech audio visuals and aerial performances, BUOY is a moving multisensory theatre experience exploring stories of what separates us and what keeps us connected.  For a sneak peak of the rehearsals, click here.
