Birds of a Feather: December 2024

Our last Birds of a Feather luncheon event for 2024 features special guest Dennis Altman.

About Dennis Altman

Dennis Altman is an influential voice and visionary in the field of sexualities and LGBTQ+ rights.  A son of Jewish refugees, Dennis is a writer and academic who first came to attention with the publication of his book Homosexual: Oppression & Liberation in 1972.  The first serious analysis to emerge from the gay liberation movement, this book was published in seven countries with a readership which continues today.
