Organised by our Country LGBTI Inclusion Program, the final Birds of a Feather lunch for 2022 features former Tasmanian Australian of the Year and LGBTIQA+ advocate Rodney Croome.
Rodney Croome fronted the campaign to decriminalise homosexuality in Tasmania and was founder and national director of Australian Marriage Equality. He has also been involved in a number of LGBTIQA+ campaigns and is currently a spokesperson for national LGBTIQA+ advocacy organisation, Just.Equal Australia. In 2003 Rodney was made a Member of the Order of Australia and in 2015 he was named Tasmanian Australian of the Year.
