Iris presents a compelling argument that communism can be good, citing the changes that occurred in her birth state in Southern India after the communist party came to power.  Iris supports her position by citing the changes that have occurred in the state in relation to equity and improved access to education.

Kara

Kara provides an insight into the impact on mental health and the challenges posed by everyday activities like going out for a meal, or travelling that is experienced by people who have severe allergic reactions.

Lachlan

Fourteen year old Lachlan wants to seek out simple solutions to ensure that people in developing nations have clean water and access to sanitation.

Liz

Liz presents the need for further education and a reduction in taboo and stigma when speaking about menstrual health.  Her innovative approach is to design an app that provides holistic health information and assists people to tack their cycle.

Lorjel

Lorjel provides a talk full of impact as they examine the underrepresentation of people who publicly identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community, particularly in top level ‘men’s’ AFL competition.

Maddie

Maddie, a Kid x Plus Youth Leader at the Rainbow Bridge Challenge workshop, acknowledging the challenges faced by LGBTIQA+ young people and the human connections both past and present that support a progressively more inclusive society.

Tori

Tori returned to Kid x Plus in 2022 to highlight the important role that social enterprises can have in engaging young people.
