We offer support that’s flexible to fit your child’s needs and is focused on their unique goals and achieving positive outcomes. This could be things like developing communication skills, learning to play with other children, and help with daily tasks like dressing and toileting.
We offer a comprehensive range of services that can develop your child’s capacity to actively participate in the community. We provide services in your child’s natural environment, including your home or within their community as well as at one of our centres in Kyneton, Romsey, Sunbury and Woodend. 28 May 2021
The Child and Youth Allied Health team based at Sunbury (Hume) are experiencing a high demand for our NDIS child and youth services. This has resulted in lengthy wait times to access our services.
Currently there is a shortage of available allied health staff across the entire child and youth NDIS sector. This is making the recruitment of allied health clinicians extremely challenging, including recruitment of speech pathologists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Due to this we have made the difficult decision to currently close the child and youth NDIS waitlist and will not be accepting new referrals at this time.
Existing referrals and clients already on our waitlist will not be impacted.
We will continue our recruitment efforts and look forward to successfully recruiting new therapists to our team as soon as possible. We will reopen the waitlist for new referrals when we are once again able to offer a timely service to families.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
