This confidential service supports women experiencing violence and abuse from a partner, ex-partner or someone else they are close to. We help and empower women to make their own choices. It is confidential and non-judgmental.
Moving On
Our Moving On support group assists women who are affected by hurtful relationships and family violence.
Men’s Behaviour Change
Our Men’s Behaviour Change program is for men who have used intimate partner violence currently or historically. This group is for men seeking to work towards creating respectful relationships with their partners and family.
Safe Thriving and Connected
Safe, Thriving and Connected is a therapeutic family violence recovery program for victims and survivors of family violence. The program is delivered by the Loddon Gender Equality and Violence Prevention Consortium, of which we are partners along with the Centre for Non Violence (lead agency), Anne North Women’s Refuge, Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria and Women’s Health Loddon Mallee.
The Loddon Gender Equality and Violence Prevention Consortium was established in 2005 with the aim of working together to deliver innovative and integrated responses to women and children experiencing violence, as well as programs for men who use violence towards family members. Click here for more details on the Consortium.
The Orange Door
We also work closely with The Orange Door, a free service for adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence and families who need extra support with the care of children. The Orange Door is available to those living in the Macedon Ranges and can be accessed from our Kyneton site. We also have the Centre for Non-Violence and the Centre Against Sexual Assault Victoria co-located at our Kyneton site.
