Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is the Department of Education and Training (DET) approved provider of allied health supports (occupational therapy, speech pathology, child psychology and social work) to our kindergarten communities.

We are also the lead agency for Macedon Ranges, Central Goldfields, Mount Alexander, Loddon, Campaspe and Greater Bendigo regions.

The DET school readiness priority areas are:

    1. Communication (language development)
    2. Wellbeing (social and emotional)
    3. Access and inclusion

The School Readiness Funding recognises the important role kindergarten staff and families play in enabling children to thrive from the stimulation that early learning experiences provide.

Kindergartens can use the School Readiness Funding to access our DET pre-purchased allied health services for individual consults or targeted training sessions.

Kindergartens can purchase additional training or supports from our services or from the School Readiness Funding menu using the link above.

We work closely with each kindergarten to ensure our service supports address their unique needs.
